Prior to joining the Christ the King School family in January 2003, Mrs Lopez was an interim superintendent for Region 1 in the Guam Department of Education. Mrs Lopez received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary and Special Education as well as her Masters of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Guam. She brings to our school over twenty five years of experience in education, from teaching children in the first grade, to teaching children in the fourth to sixth grade with special needs, to School Programs Consultant for Early Childhood Educations, Assistant Director of Head Start, and Principal of a Multi-Track year Round School, and Interim superintendent all in public schools.
In her spare time, Mrs. Lopez enjoys reading novels and making stained galss pieces.
