But only GOD keeps you going." | Once a visitor to the islands, Ms Rudd now calls Maui and Christ the King School where she teaches the first grade, home. Prior to coming to Christ the King School Ms Rudd was an enthusiastic Kindergarten teacher at Ygnacio Valley Elementary School in Concord, California. She say’s teaching children of this age is so rewarding because of the student's passion, enthusiasm, and desire to learn. At this age they are so curious to understand how their world works and embrace each day with excitement and hope. Also, every day is a surprise and you never know what will happen, the kids are always doing and saying the unexpected.
Ms Rudd received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics with a minor in Religious Studies from Saint Mary’s College of California. While there she also received her Multiple Subjects Credentials in Elementary Education.
Outside of her classroom, Ms Rudd loves art and going to the beach to swim, fish, and camp. |
